[MPlayer-users] yes I did rtfm

And while trying to compile mplayer 0.90pre5, I noticed that while this
exotic strange code didn't fry my motherboard, it did give me this
error:

gcc3 -shared -o libdha-0.1.so libdha.o mtrr.o pci.o pci_names.o
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc_s
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libdha-0.1.so] Error 1

Which is dead wrong because I have libgcc_s in /usr/lib and it links to
/usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1. It's there. So why does the compiler not see it?
And how can I force it to see that library?
