[MPlayer-users] mencoder is not able to convert dvb recording from vdr

Hi,

I have coded successfully a bunch of vdr files to divx4. But I have
difficulties with two recent recordings. mencoder gives the following
error message:

DEMUXER: Too many (4096 in 7940644 bytes) video packets in the buffer!
(maybe you play a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed)
Pos:   0.0s      1f ( 0%)   0fps Trem:   0min   0mb  A-V:0.000 [0:0]

Apparently mencoder has problems with the syncronisation of video and
audio. 

xine has also a lot of problems replaying the video. But after some
restarts it is working.

I put a small sample on the web so that anybody can do some tests with

I have tried it with different versions of mplayer: 20020131, 20020216
and 20020224.
