Sure it's there and I run ldconfig, or other libraries I compiled
couldn't work :-)

According to strace, /usr/local/lib is simply not tested at all (by
mplayer, of course!) :-(
But, as I said, it's not a problem. Might be (and probably is) something
weird on my machine.
