[MPlayer-users] Mencoder : ugly subtitles

Hello,

I obtain really good results with mencoder to convert
DVD in DivX. My only problem is subtitles. When I
rescale down the video resolution (for example from
720x480 to 576x384) subtiles become really ugly.
Does anyone know what can I do ?
I use -x -y and -sid options.
