the thing is SDLlib is not a single driver, but many, theres eg. also
-vo sdl:dga or -vo sdl:aa or -vo sdl:fbdev ....

speed difference between xv and sdl using xvideo is cause by extra
features of sdl (drawing osd outside movie), otherwise it nearly exactly
the same speed.
