huh? ehh.
mayeb ace just don't compress mp3 so they are untouched in teh .ace files
try mpg123 *ace, should also work

btw, you can play movies from rar(s):

rar p *.rar | mplayer -cache 20000 -

-cache is recommended for smoother seeking and to allow seeking back a
little.

is there .ace decompressor foe linux?
