[MPlayer-users] Audio / Brightness

Hi,

I succeeded in ripping my Hard Rain DVD to a Hard Rain DivX. 
Good quality picture, but way way way to 'dark', and the audio 
was way to soft too.

Does anyone know what options could improve picture brightness &
sound-volume?
