Hello,
I am having a problem getting mplayer to play DVDs on my desktop
machine. It will play other formats (vcd and all on-drive formats) fine.
I tried playing a DVD in the drive, and get the following:
MPlayer 0.60-2.95.4 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)
CPU vendor name: AuthenticAMD max cpuid level: 1
CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Athlon TB Thunderbird (Type: 6, Stepping: 2)
extended cpuid-level: 6
CPUflags: Type: 6 MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 0 SSE2: 0
Compiled for x86 CPU with features: MMX MMX2 3DNow 3DNowEx
Reading /root/.mplayer/codecs.conf: 26 audio & 70 video codecs
font: can't open file: /root/.mplayer/font/font.desc
Font /usr/share/mplayer/font/font.desc loaded successfully! (206 chars)
Linux RTC init: open: No such file or directory
Using usleep() timing
libdvdread: Encrypted DVD disc detected, enabling CSS decryption.
Reading disc structure, please wait...
There are 4 titles on this DVD.
There are 37 chapters in this DVD title.
There are 1 angles in this DVD title.
libdvdread: Invalid title IFO (VTS_01_0.IFO).
Can't open the IFO file for DVD title 1.
Exiting... (End of file)
As you can see, it is having a hard time with the title IFO. I can take
the DVD out of the desktop and put it in my laptop and it works fine.
Both are running Debian/sid. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
