[MPlayer-users] lirc problem , pls help

hey , i have installed lirc and mplayer 
now when i try to open a movie , tis is what is get 
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: liblirc_client.so.0: cannot open shared object: no sutch file or directory 
but file is there in /usr/local/lib/
anyone can help me ?
