[MPlayer-users] Skipping when encoding vobs..

the ability to get rid of cat *vob would be great... say mencoder *.vob
<rest of your options>. 

During the encoding, I accidently pressed (up arrow, enter)... which as
soon as my encoding was finished, it wouldve overwrite the file. It
would be nice mencoder avoided overwriting a file that exists already.
(like rename it automagically)
