AFAIK 2.4.18 is not the _one_ :-) It has tons of bugs - ie. (I've
found) SMB directory lockup due to NLS, USB complete lockup, ... etc. (My
WebCam also made some troubles). I know it sounds strange, but try
2.4.19-preX (latest one), it's much more stable (personal
experience) than 2.4.18.
