if you don't need any GUI, then well, yes but you'll have to make some 
scripts/aliases bc you currently need to specify the channel,screen size 
etc. on the command line.

also if you don't like xawtv, you could try Zapping, which has a great 
UI and supports teletext, however AFAIK it currently cannot deinterlace.
