At least mp3, read the beginning of this thread for details.
Basically, with the following command:

mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy foo.avi -audiofile bar.mp3

tons of frames get skipped and the output is totally broken. With -mc
0, it works, but audio PTS runs over 1000x too fast in the output file
and a/v sync breaks totally if you seek.
