[MPlayer-users] WinDVD releases support for dvd-audio

I'm wondering if this is something that will be possible with
mplayer?   I would really love to get advantage of my 24bit soundcard
that I have with a good quality external DAC and play the DVD-audio
discs.     What are the steps required to implement this, does the output
audio plugins for oss and alsa support the 24/96 to begin with?
