[MPlayer-users] Codec request

I think it would be a good idea if mplayer supported some MJPEG-2000 based
codec's. The results from MJPEG-2000 can be stunning at low bit rates. I
have prepared two tar files and uploaded them to the incoming directory.

The first is from Image Power. www.imagepower.com
It uses the fourcc ipj2 and is a vfw codec only

The second is from Morgan Multimedia www.morgan-multimedia.com
It uses the fourcc mj2c and is a vfw and directshow filter.

I hope that support for these codecs can be added. I do not think people
would be disappointed with the results. The Morgan codec at 1Mbps is many
times better than any mpeg-4 derivative.
