[MPlayer-users] Playing a movie without X windows

Yeah, I tried that, but it said I also needed sdl. So I did;
mplayer -vo help
but sdl wasn't one of my options. So what's the full command?
mplayer -zoom 1024 foo.avi
Should this work w/o X Windows?? Maybe I need to recompile MPlayer w/ sdl
support.

You need -zoom also, to force software scaling.
