[MPlayer-users] Problem with -ao alsa9:surround51

I have a problem with playing AC3 movies through alsa interface.
If I use mplayer -channels 6 -ao alsa9:surround51
i get only weird sound and mplayer spams something like this:

alsa-space: xrun of at least 14,544 msecs. resetting stream 0,0% 0 0 0%
alsa-space: xrun of at least 6,116 msecs. resetting stream  0,0% 0 0 0%
alsa-space: xrun of at least 5,036 msecs. resetting stream  0,0% 0 0 0%
....

I use alsa driver version 0.9.0rc5 and MPlayer version 0.90pre10.

Anyone can help me with this? Or is it just bug in MPlayer?
