OK, but just to be sure... You can capture 720x576 at 25fps PAL with a
WinTVGo BT878 card and encode it to 720x576 at 25fps vhq mpeg4 in real
time on an Athlon 1.2GHz?
You use mencoder to capture directly from the v4l device?
Is there an effective way of editing the resulting files?
If so I might have to get a WinTVGo. How good is the tuner?
