I get basically the same thing on cygwin. I HAVE moved the qtx-codecs files to /usr/lib/win32 and instead of the message above, I get 'invalid qt DLL!' message. Did it change that you need win32 enabled for this to work now, the howto stated to EXPLICITLY --disable-win32, which is of course still needed on cygwin at this time (if you have the w32codecs installed in /usr/lib/win32...). Any ideas/suggestions?
