[MPlayer-users] avi files

Hello Sir

I am having .avi files on my windows machine . I have
converted them to .m1v and .mpg . Then I played them
with media player on the same windows m/c. They are
playing fine. But the same files when I copy to my
linux m/c and play with mplayer I am geting broken
picture. Would you be kind enough to tell What is the
problem? Or is there any other way to play avi files
on linux?
