[MPlayer-users] Video play issues

I am having problems playing a movie I have encoded with divx. ./configure 
finds the divx libraries fine, so that doesn't seem to be a problem. When 
I type `mplayer movie.avi` it crashes with:

Movie-Aspect is undefined = no prescaling applied.
V0: [xv] 704x464 => 704x464 Planar YV12
X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)


MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: flip_page


I have got the X11 error when I tried xine as well. Am I missing something? 
I'm not on the computer this happens on so I can't past the whole of the 
log in, but let me know if more context is needed.
