Hi all!
I've found a bug (or at least I couldn't find it in the list of
known bugs)
Well, I tried to listen to a radio located at
"http://www.fmrockandpop.com/rpvivo/rockpop.asx"
. This, in turn is a link to the broadcaster:
"mms://200.49.147.120/rock&popf". Ok. In general I don't have any
problems listening to radios. But with this in particular, I have. First
of all, this radio seems to be broadcasted at the port 1755. (The
others, seem to be at port 80).
I touched a little bit the source code. This is because in my first
attemps what happened is that mplayer couldn't connect to the radio. So
I deleted the corresponding lines to the connection to port 80. And then
it begun to connect. But every time i run mplayer, it crashes.
The way I do it is forcing to connect directly to port 1755. Look
at the log in the attached file mplayer1.log
mplayer.log has the log file for the case in which there is not
forcing to use port 1755.
Another thing: I changes the number of retries, otherwise I can't
connect to the server.
I am running suse 6.4, in a Pentium 233 MHz. But listening radios,
I have no issues about the oldness of the hardware.
gcc 2.95.2.
as 2.9.5
libc: libc.so.6
kernel: linux 2.2.14 i686
Strangely enough, in windows such a radio works :(
Hope you will find something (or give me a hint)
