[MPlayer-users] Framebuffer instead of X

Well I use RH 7.3 and have very good frame rates. Type 'glxgears' to test if
your frame rates are good with X first.

 

Then, if they aren't you know your video drivers are not working.

I'm trying to play divx files under redhat 7.3. It works well under gnome,
but the frame rate is not acceptable. I think that writing to the frame
buffer will produce a better result.

 

However I can't get this to work, an it results in an error.

 

What is the best way to get this to work?
