hi,
maybe you might try encoding with ffmpeg, so use -ovc lavc (if you are
not using a (pre-)release, but cvs, you need to install it with mplayer
(see docs). it _might_ work better than with the divx4/5 thing, at least
it is said to be faster.
i also remember seeing some mails on the list on audio problems with
encoded stuff under windows, it was something about using vbr/cbr/abr
(whatever, i didn't care, no windows here). you might search for them
in the archives, maybe this helps with your player, too. (which i
can't promise as i don't really care about that windows-problem-things).
if none of this helps, search the archives, read a lot of manpages and
documentation. if this doesn't solve your problem either, you learned
at least a lot :))
