[MPlayer-users] mplayer crahes X server

Hello,

I have been using MPLayer for a while and I love it ....

    ... until I compiled and install MPlayer on another machine. On my X
terminal (diskless), I run the server with X -query xdmserver and start a
session. I run mplayer </path/to/file.mpg> and then my X session crashes.

I then tried redirecting stdout & stderr to a file while runing mplyer to
catch the output. The output looks fine except that error message that I
have shared memory disabled. I looked in /etc/imlib/imrc and "Mit Shm" is
"on". Other that that, no other errors. I also looked in the logs of the X
server from both the X terminal and the Application server but no problems
there.

Im using the latest release available for download on the Mplayer site.

Any ideas ?
