Hi,
I am having problems with mencoder.
I'm trying to make a divx file from a dvd. The dvd files are in a vfat
partition.
Now I will show you the logs that I recopiled

############# In a ext2 partition

[root at localhost video_ts]# mencoder -dvd 1 -dvd-device . -v

MEncoder 0.90pre8-3.2 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)

Reading /usr/etc/mplayer/codecs.conf: 38 audio & 106 video codecs
File not found: 'frameno.avi'
get_path('font/font.desc') -> '/root/.mplayer/font/font.desc'
font: can't open file: /root/.mplayer/font/font.desc
Font /usr/share/mplayer/font/font.desc loaded successfully! (206 chars)
Using MMX (with tiny bit MMX2) Optimized OnScreenDisplay
libdvdread: Couldn't find device name.
Reading disc structure, please wait...
There are 17 titles on this DVD.
There are 51 chapters in this DVD title.
There are 3 angles in this DVD title.
Can't open title VOBS (VTS_06_1.VOB).
Cannot open file/device

The final error occurs because I only have a few files from the dvd in my
partition. These files were ripped using smartripper v. 2.41

Now the log of the same procces but in a vfat partition
