[MPlayer-users] Question on -v output (not a bugreport)

When I was looking at a log generated for a movie I was watching, it seemed somewhat redundant on what is happening when mplayer starts up and 'queries' the formats it has available.  Could this be platform and/or vo specific?

Logfile attached.  If does turn out to be a bug, I can do everything needed in DOCS/bugreports.html.
