[MPlayer-users] [BUG] mplayer locks up on some .asf files

Recent CVS (including tonight's) locks up when I play some .asf files I
have (but not all of them).
system info:
- Debian testing (sarge)
- linux 2.4.19 / libc6 2.2.5-14.3 / X 4.1.0-17
- gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
- GNU ld version 2.13.90.0.4 20020814 Debian GNU/Linux
- GNU assembler 2.13.90.0.4 20020814 Debian GNU/Linux
- AMD Thunderbird 900 MHz uniprocessor
- matrox G200 AGP 8M
- Creative SBLive! w/ stock oss drivers
I compiled my own debian packages from mplayer cvs.
When playing some .asf files, mplayer locks up hard. I need to do kill
-9 to kill it. This happens with -vo x11, -vo xmga, and even -vo null.
The same file works fine when viewed with mplayer cvs from 2002-09-18.
Here's "mplayer -v Insomniac-2002-09-03.asf &> log". Below it is the
same log (but working) from 2002-09-18 cvs.
