[MPlayer-users] fine for random period of time then laggy.

Hi

i seem to have a problem with mplayer.
it runs fine for around 10 minutes sometimes longer
then all of a sudden the video will become laggy.

i have read the documentation many times and dont seem to be getting
anwhere and the machine is more than capable of playing video.
Most divx's mpeg etc.. use about 10% cpu time and will continue
to only use 10% cpu time when it becomes laggy.

does anyone have any suggestions.
