$ gcc --version
2.95.3

$ ld -v
GNU ld version 2.11.2 (with BFD 2.11.2nb1)

r$ as --version
GNU assembler 2.11.2


I doubt that's the problem.  Two updates ago, it worked.  The update
before that, didn't work.  Before that, it worked.  For this latest
update, build doesn't work..
