[MPlayer-users] .wma file to .wav??

I tried
 mplayer -ao pcm -aofile out.wav -vc dummy -vo null sample.wma

It detects the eccoding of sample file, says it is playing it BUT
never terminates :-) Killing mplayer shows 44 bytes in oust.wav file.

Any ideas?
