there is a program for mac, called divxdoctor (doctor.3ivx.com). in a faq,
you will find link to extracted WMA component (apparently from WMP 6.x for
mac). they
are using it to decompress WMA audio from avi files. The codec itself is an
mac extension, containing msmpeg-4, wma, acelp and g726 decoders.
(drop me an email on priv, and Ill send you this extracted file (otherwise I
may forgot ;)).
Anyhow, this file can be splited into separate codecs, but the real problem
is - they are in PEF
(Prefered Executable Format?) format, and I have not seen any PEF loader
floating around yet.
I think Ive seen specification of that format at apple.com...
Also, there is windows media format sdk for mac available (got it
decompressed also, tell me if
you need that too) which could probably be used to guess what is the actual
API for decoding.
