ok i've downloaded stuffit-expander, and teh above file and "expanded" it...

the .hqx archive contains ony one file, named 'Windows Media Installer'

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3743229 Sep 2 14:33 Windows Media Installer
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6307699 Nov 20 2001 WindowsMediaInstaller.hqx

note the file sizes :)

note also teh text on aladdin download page:
"Nothing's smaller than StuffIt - nothing! Compress and compare - StuffIt
makes the smallest files of any compression software - an average of 20%
smaller files than Zip."

lol :)

they should write 'an average of 100% bigger files than uncompressed' :)

btw this .hqx looks like plain hex dump, so no wonder if that big...

i wonder why m$ uses such lame things instead of their
not-so-good-but-still-better .cab...

ok back to the topic..
this 3.7mb file looks shit, maybe mac binary or dunno
it starts with
SVCT.....Y°Y,#.................iO.ü.8U.........Joy!peffpwpc....·).^............

'file' just says it's data, nothing more.
