it is not a new codec.
look at teh end of the .ax file - it's just ms mpeg4 dll renamed
and fourcc changed to col1 - same thing as div3 was.
just add the COL1 fourcc to codecs.conf ffdivx and wonder - it plays

note that it's added in cvs

i really hate those ppl 'developing' new codecs with hex editor...
just look at the list... divx ;-), angelpotion, cool1, etc...
they are all ms mpeg4 dll.
