yes it's an old, known bug of the rage128 vidix driver.
i have some ideas about how to fix it, but as no one of the developers has
such card, i cannot test it and so i won't commit.

if you're ready to test very experimental patches and are ready to report the
results, maybe hack it yourself, tell me.

otherwise wait while someone with such card fix the bug.

or donate me a rage128 :)
