[MPlayer-users] Sound+Video async with Mencoder

Hi,

i have following problem:

i have encoded 3 svcd-files with the 3-pass method to DivX.[1]
After it, i have merged the avi-files with avimerge.[2]
In the one big avi the sound is asynchronous but in the 3 more little
parts it is ok.

First i think, the variable bitrate of the MP3-sound was the reason, but
with constant bitrate, it is the same.

mencoder -ovc frameno -o frameno.avi -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128
        movie1.bin
mencoder -oac copy -o /dev/null -ovc lavc -lavcopts
        vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=600:vhq:vqmin=1:vqmax=31:vpass=1
        movie1.bin
mencoder -oac copy -o movie1.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts
        vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=600:vhq:vqmin=1:vqmax=31:vpass=2
        movie1.bin
(the same with movie2.bin an movie3.bin, _but_ another vbitrate...)

avimerge -o movie.avi -i movie1.avi movie2.avi movie3.avi

Any idea?
