there is dumpstream/dumpaudio-stuff (which i guess does not help you
with asf), but i guess mplayer -ao pcm (see manpage for details;)
might be useful for you.
however re-encoding from one codec to another (don't know how asf-audio is
encoded) is said to reduce quality.
