[MPlayer-users] Mplayer detached from terminal?

Hi
I'd like to run mplayer in the background for dumping ASF streams from
internet. Something like `mplayer -quiet -dumpstream http://... &', but
this is not possible AFAIK. Is there any possibility to something like
that?
