Hi,
After reading the docs, and many tries, i still wonder if this is
possible: to rip subtitles in .ifo/.sub .idx format, and only the
subtitles.
All the examples i've seen seem to decode subt+movie:
what i did is "ln -s /dev/null fameno.avi" and then launch the sub-rip
process:
]$ mencoder -dvd 1 -vobsubout subtitles -slang fr -nosound -o
frameno.avi -ovc copy
(Video stream: 4194.609 kbit/s (524326 bps) size: -1027220268 bytes
6232.280 secs 155807 frames
)
-1212312312312 bytes :))
Isn't their a way to rip all languages vobsubs at the same time?
And when i tried later to:
mplayer -dvd 1 -vobsub subtitles -slang fr
"It didn't work"
Maybe i'm totally wrong again?
PS: A friend of mine has a dvd: the intro begins with subtitles (about
30 secs), then the anime begins, and no subtitles are shown anymore
(using latest cvs blablabla), could mplayer be a bit buggy on this one?
I have seen it, but have no logs yet, will post them later, this week.
Greetz,
Ltwp
