[MPlayer-users] Accelerated sw-scalers on Sparc using Media Lib?

Hi,

I'm using MPlayer mainly on Linux, but also on Sparc/Solaris, and it
really works fine.  Parts of it are now using Sun's mediaLib
(http://www.sun.com/processors/vis/mediaLib.html) which is optimized
for the different types of Sparc processors, also using the VIS
instruction set.  I think that MPlayer on Sparc would gain greatly in
usability, if sw-scalers using mediaLib were added, too.  I have had a
look at the mediaLib documentation, and it should be quite easy to add
for someone knowing the MPlayer source well enough. 

Does anyone plan to do this?
