[MPlayer-users] Dumped subtitles with -vobsubout, playback?

Hi,

I encoded one of my DVD's and used "-vobsubout subtitle" to dump the
subtitle stream to disk. This resulted in a 7.5mb 'subtitle.sub' file
and a 84k 'subtitle.idx' file.

Now how do I use these during playback?

I tried:
mplayer -vo sdl -fs -pp 0x20000 -sub subtitle.sub myavi.avi
and got:
SUB: Detected subtitle file format: subviewer 2.0
	SUB: Read 0 subtitles.
	Can't load subtitles: subtitle.sub

Then I tried:
mplayer -vo sdl -fs -pp 0x20000 -vobsub subtitle myavi.avi
and got:
	Can't open IFO file

So I copied the vts_01_0.ifo from the DVD and named it 'subtitle.ifo'.
Now the 'Can't open IFO file' errormessage is gone, but still no
subtitles.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks and Kind Regards,
Sander.
