I think your XCD is duff. How did you build it? My understanding is
an XCD should have at least two tracks: the first is a mode 1 track
which contains subsidiary files such as subtitles and a fake entry
for the movie which is actually in the second, mode 2, track.
When I play an XCD mplayer -vcd 2 says:
Playing VCD track 2
track 01: adr=1 ctrl=4 format=2 00:02:00 mode: 1
track 02: adr=1 ctrl=4 format=2 00:08:02 mode: 1
VCD start byte position: 0x155908 end: 0x31BF30E0
When you play yours only one track is shown:
> Playing VCD track 2
> track 01: adr=1 ctrl=4 format=2 00:02:00 mode: 1
> ioctl dif1: Input-/Outputerror
> Error selecting VCD track. (seek)
When I try to play track one with mplayer -vcd 1 it hangs in the same
place as yours.
I suspect you have not included the movie file in your bin file.
