[MPlayer-users] MPlayer installation for RedHat 8.0 and above

rpm -q -R -p nameofpackagefile.rpm will list all the dependancies you
need.
for example:
[syl at snoop alsa]$ rpm -q -R -p
alsa-kernel-0.9.2-fr2_2.4.20_9.athlon.rpm
/bin/sh
/bin/sh
/sbin/depmod
alsa-driver = 0.9.2
kernel = 2.4.20-9
rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
