[MPlayer-users] stuttering outpout when play from drive

Hello dear Mplayer users and develpoers,

Maybe I am a legasthenic or something like my problem is not described 
anywhere in Docs or the Maillist-archieves. Anyway, perhaps somebody can help 
me.
Mplayer (0.90rc5) is dooing well. It plays even files, which are not playable 
with Win*ows Me*iaplayer (9). But Videostreams, Mpeg-Files and even DVDs are 
only watchable when ripped or copied on Harddisk. When playing VCD, SVCD or 
just a simple Mpeg from DVD-Drive the movie is stuttering (video and audio). 
>From Harddisk perfekt! My Computer is an Athlon 1,33 Ghz with 512 MB Ram and 
GNU Debian Linux 3.0 with Kernel 2.4.17. The DVD-Drive is an 16X DVD (32X CD) 
on the IDE-Bus.
So when someone knows the problem and know how to solve it, please tell me.
