[MPlayer-users] A-V delay does not work correctly

Hello,

Using mplayer 1.0 release on the file:
Raiders.of.the.Lost.Ark.\(1981\).CD2.LDCap.Kramerica.ShareReactor.avi
I am having audio problems. It appears that the creator of this file
has prepended a splash page to the video resulting in a 5-6 second delay
between the sound and the video (video lags sound).
I tried using mplayers -delay option but it has no effect on the actual
lag, however if I then use the + and - keys the delay value starts at what
I used in the -delay option.
The + and - keys work during playback and I can slowly adjust the lag,
but if I stop and start the video the perceived adjustment resets.
However further + and - keypresses take over from before.
So it appears that the code is not enforcing the delay at the start of
playback.

This is the console output for 1 playback run:

mplayer -idx temp/Raiders.of.the.Lost.Ark.\(1981\).CD2.LDCap.Kramerica.ShareReactor.avi
