[MPlayer-users] URL style DVD command

For the last few weeks I have only been able to use the new URL style command 
to call DVD playback, and the old -dvd 1 command gives a message telling me 
that it is deprecated, and to use dvd://1 instead.

Is the old command meant to no longer work? Is there a configure option to 
change this behaviour. I personally dislike the new URL commands and would 
like to be able to change this behaviour in some way.
