[MPlayer-users] time display in hh:mm:ss.s?

Is there an option in mplayer (text mode, audio only) to
make it display time in hh:mm:ss.s format rather than
sssss.s?

If a patch were made available to change the format, or
make it an option, what are the chances it might be
accepted into the main codestream?
