[MPlayer-users] MENCODER: AuDIO OF SYNC when recording from TV

I am using the following command line:
/usr/bin/mencoder -tv
on:driver=v4l:norm=palm:width=640:height=480:amode=0 \
-oac mp3lame -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1400 -vop pp=lb \
-o arquivo.avi

And after some time, the audio starts to get auto of sync. How can i fix
that ? I just noticed the audio was out of sync while watching it.
While recording i just have:
Pos:  14.8s    443f ( 0%)  24fps Trem:   0min   0mb  A-V:0.000
[1387:215]

btw, does that "A-V" have something to do with audio sync ?!?

My machine is a duron 950 mhz, 512 MB ram. What would be the required
machine to record with out problems ?!?
