[MPlayer-users] Can MPlayer base AV sync on video only?

Hi, I wonder if there is a way to make mplayer bases
the AV sync on video instead of audio?  What I am
looking for is a way to play video files with sound,
but with the timing controlled in the same fashion as
when the -nosound option is given.

I am using mplayer in the slave mode and I am
controlling the video stream directly, issuing rtsp
commands on my end but using mplayer to "render" the
incoming rtp stream.
