[MPlayer-users] BUG: mencoder nor mplayer can't read DV avi

Hmm, that's unusual.  I can't play those AVI files either (same mplayer 
version) but other DV/AVI files I've got work fine.  Perhaps those AVI files 
are in a slightly different format.

I have however, found that whenever you try to play a raw .dv file, mplayer 
always crashes on exit, and you have to use kill -9 to get rid of it.
